My Dearest Darling Wife,

Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dolly. Gee darling I received the sweetest letter from you today and I was so thrilled to get it dearest. I also received one from the folks. Yours was the twenty sixth of April so that was pretty good time. I wrote you a short letter last nite dear, wasn’t much but all I had time for before dark. Gee darling your precious letters mean so awful darn much to me and they are so sweet. They make me so awful darn happy dearest and make me feel so wonderful all over. Gosh Honey just gives me the grandest feeling all over when I can get your precious letters. Gee darling won’t it be wonderful when we are in each others arms and won’t have to write letters any more. Honey dear you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful darn much.

I am feeling fine now dearest and getting along all right in every way now. I have plenty of everything now darling. Well Honey it has been a real nice day here but so awful hot. It sure is dry to, the dust is about an inch thick on the roads. Honey you are still having cold weather and lots of rain. I sure hope it has turned nice by now dearest. Gee darling we would be enjoying ourselves if we was together just as much as if it was nice. We would be in our little home and be so cozy. When it is bad like that dear we will come home from work and have our supper and then straighten our little home up and we will be dressed real comfy dear and then we will go in on our divan and I will hold you in my arms and we will have our radio on and be talking to each other and be so awful happy. Gosh darling it will all be so darn wonderful and so heavenly.

Sure hope this finds you on your vacation dear and I sure hope it is nice to. Gee darling wouldn’t it be wonderful if we were spending a vacation together. We would have a trip planned for someplace and be so awful happy doing everything together and enjoying ourselves in every way. Please take it easy while you are on your vacation dear and Honey if you don’t feel like going back when your two weeks is up take another week or so. You have been working so darn hard dearest are you sure need a good rest. Gee darling I sure hope it isn’t very long before we can have our furlough. It doesn’t look like Germany can last very much longer. They have surrendered in two different places now and there isn’t very much left to take. I believe they will all surrender before long now. I sure believe that I will be home for good when I do once get there dear, that is if I get any breaks at all. I sure would like to see some big quotas come in so these old guys would get out of here and we could have a chance. Surely by late summer or fall something will turn up. I will have twenty eight months now the tenth and by that time I will have around thirty three. As soon as that is all over on the other side it should speed up rotation to. Gee darling it is so awful wonderful to know that we have the most of our time in and that in the near future we will be in each others arms. Every day that goes by now Honey is one day closer to our time. We have twenty eight months behind us now dear. It has been so awful hard on us but our love for each other has meant everything to us dear and made things so much easier for us. God has helped us so awful much dear and it is so wonderful to know him dear and be able to go to him for help. Darling we have everything planned so perfect for our meeting and we will be so happy dearest. This whole thing ought to be all over by this time next year. Won’t it be wonderful when it is all over dear and we can really start our life together.

Honey you said you was going to get my robe and slippers the next week after you wrote this letter I received today. I guess you was probably figuring on getting it while you was on your vacation dear. I sure hope you get what you wanted dear cause I know if my little honey can get the kind she wants it will really be wonderful. Gee darling I am so happy that you have your robe set and I am so anxious to see it dear. Gosh Honey we will be so awful close together when we have our first embrace and then in a very few minutes we will be as close together as it is possible dear. Honey you wanted to know if you should wear your wine-colored robe set or rather if you should bring it for our meeting. Well darling that is all up to you but if you don’t bring it for our meeting then we will have it with us when we go to one of the other hotels dear, so honey that is all up to you. Honey I want you to be sure and send me the list you made up now dear and Honey put the clothes you are going to bring and all, gee it will be wonderful to see what all my little wife is going to bring and to know that I can be touching it all in person before very long and helping you get into it dear. Gee darling won’t it all be heavenly. I’m never letting you out of my sight dear after I get in your sweet arms. Everywhere you are honey I’ll be right there to. Gosh darling it will be so awful heavenly to hold you so tight and have your lips pressed against mine so tight, to be able to hear you talk dear and to look at you for hours and hours. You mean everything in this world to me dolly and my whole life is yours. Everything I do and all my thoughts are of you dearest and it makes me feel so awful wonderful when in some little way I can make you happy. Honey you know I will always do everything in my power to make you happy and to make you the best husband I know how. Honey I love you so, so awful, awful darn much and darling the truest love in the world and straight from the heart. Darling I know God hears our prayers and will keep us safe and bring us together as soon as possible now. We are both so awful thankful to him for bringing us together dearest and he has helped us so much dearest.

Darling you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful darn much and you know I always will dearest. Isn’t it wonderful to be married darling and really belong to each other. Gosh Honey you are so awful pretty from the tips of my beautiful blonde hair to the tips of my sweet little toes and gee all mine. It will be so awful wonderful when I can tell you in person just like I did when we was in Texas dear only it will be more wonderful than ever now dearest. Honey we are so happily married and love each other more every day. Please take wonderful care of my precious parts dearest, gee but they are wonderful and I love them so awful darn much. Yours are fine dolly, miss you so awful, awful much but they will be back together before long now dolly. Honey you are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in this world and I love you so awful darn much and you know I always will dolly.

Well sug I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now dearest. I’ll be looking for your precious letter now dearest.
