Hi
Pal
I hope you won’t be too surprised to
hear from me. But really its not that I’ve been neglectful, but to tell you the
truth, I’ve been going around in circles ever since my furlough ended.
First I’ll try and give you the low
down on everything.
Well first of all I spent 54 days at
home. After I reported back they told me they weren’t authorized to give me a
furlough from overseas. So I was sent to Camp Stoneman

They had orders to send us back to our respective
After I got back to
Well Tommie how’re the rest of the
boys getting along? Are they getting lots of “push push”
on this side of the ocean they called “just plain F” plenty of it too.
Mo, I’m not married yet although I
have had pretty close calls, but why get married huh! The good lord always
provides Ha. Ha.
Gee kid, I sure wish you and the
rest of the boys could make it home soon. I know its
not right to write about the wonderful times here but honestly pal, it’s the
truth.
Pal you can answer to my home
address, anyway mom will forward my mail to where I’ll be in the stationed
because at present I still don’t know where it will be. So until then Tommie
take good care of yourself and regards to all the boys there and if there is
anything I can do or you or the boys let me know will you.
Lots of luck pal,
The same, Pluto
