My Dearest Darling Wife,

Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dear. Well dolly no sweet letters so far today but that was sure a sweet one I received yesterday and I sure hope some comes in today. Gee darling your precious letters mean the world and all to me and they are so darn sweet. They make me so awful, awful happy dear and make me feel so wonderful all over. Gee darling it just makes a different person out of me in every way when I can get your precious letters. I sure hope you are getting my mail all right now dearest. You are so sweet darling and I love you so awful darn much.

I am feeling fine now dearest and getting along all right in every way now. I have plenty of everything now dear. Well Honey it is a pretty nice day here, awful hot though. There is usually a good breeze blowing but there sure isn’t this morning. Sure hope you are having some nice weather now dear. Well Honey on the day shift now, got a little break this morning. Boy the day shift week goes by pretty fast but that nite shift week just drags and drags.

Darling you was telling me some time ago that Thad had been promoted to leadman at the bomber plant. Boy I am sure glad for him and I know he is really happy over it to. Sure hope he doesn’t get laid off now but I expect they will close a lot of those places down entirely now before long. That sure is good money and I sure would like to be making some of that. He draws almost as much in an hour as I make all day. You was saying that Jeanette was going to have to have another operation on her side to. Boy that poor little kid has sure had a time. I sure hope that she gets fixed up this time now.

Gee darling I am so anxious to hear from you now and see how my little honey is making it. You was so sick with your throat in my letter yesterday dear. Gee darling if only I was there to help you and to take care of you so you wouldn’t have to get out of bed for a thing. Please be awful, awful careful now dearest and take wonderful care of my sweet little wife. Gee but I hope you are feeling swell now dear. It will be so darn heavenly when I am back in your precious arms dear and we can look after each other all the time. We will be so darn happy and everything will be so wonderful. Honey I sure hope you didn’t go back to work until you was completely well. I am sure glad Clarence is home now dear cause I know he will really take good care of my darling.

Honey you was telling me that you had just come in from mowing the lawn before you started writing me. I’ll bet that is really a job dear and from the looks of that picture you sent me, it looks like you have a big lawn to dear. Gee darling won’t it be heavenly when we have our little home and can fix things up and take care of it like we want to. We will have so much fun doing everything together dear, gee but it will be heavenly honey. Gee darling surely it won’t be to long before we will be able to see our dreams come true. I don’t believe Japan will last so very long after they once get started after her. Then there will surely something come of this point system. I sure am anxious to find out just what the real set up is going to be. They are supposed to announce it July the first I think. Surely something will turn up for us before so very long dear. Gee darling we have our meeting planned so perfect and gee but it will be so heavenly when our day does really come dear. Gee darling I am sure anxious to see my robe, I know it is really swell dear. I am sure glad you have your swell set dear. That will be the only thing we will have much use for when we are in our room dear and honey I’ll bet they will be on the hanger the biggest part of the time, right dear. Honey have you ever finished your list for what you was going to bring with you. Gee darling we can’t really imagine how wonderful it will all be. By ourselves with no one to bother us in anyway, doing whatever we want to and whenever we want, won’t it be heavenly darling. Boy Honey it is sure going to be without the towel most of the time to. I will have you so close to me all the time dearest, just as close as I can get you dear. Honey I know God hears our prayers and will keep us safe and bring us back together as soon as possible.

Dearest you are so awful sweet and I love you so awful, awful darn much and you know I always will dear. We are so happily married darling and love each other more every day. Honey I know that there isn’t or never will be a happier married couple than us. Our love is real love dear, true love and straight from the heart. Honey dear when I get you in my arms I am going to hold you so tight and kiss you so often dear. Dearest you are such a perfect little wife in every way and I am so darn proud o you dear. Honey please take wonderful care of my precious parts, gee but they are wonderful and I love them so darn much. Yours are fine dolly, miss you so awful darn much but they will be together before very long now dear. You are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in this world dolly and I love you so darn much and you know I always will Honey.

Well sug I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now dear. I’ll be looking for your precious letters now dearest.
