My Dearest Darling Wife,

Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dearest. Gee darling I received the sweetest letter from you today and I was so thrilled to get it darling. It was so darn sweet and precious dearest, just like all your wonderful letters are, I also received one from the folks dear. Honey yours was June the twenty second so that was pretty good time. Gee darling your precious letters mean the world and all to me and they are so darn sweet. They make me so awful, awful happy dear and make me feel so wonderful all over. Gosh Honey it gives me the grandest feeling all over when I can get your precious letters. Honey dear I sure hope you are getting my mail all right now. You are so darn sweet dearest and I love you so awful darn much.

I am feeling fine now dearest and getting along all right in every way now. I have plenty of everything now dolly. Well dear it is a pretty nice day here, not so awful hot today cause it has been raining off and on all day. It sure is a relief to get away from that heat for a day to. Sure hope you are having some nice weather now dear. You should be having some real weather by now darling and I sure hope not to hot. I’ll bet my little honey has her short sets out by now. Gee darling won’t it be heavenly when we are in our little home and can dress comfy all the time. We will be so darn happy and everything will be so wonderful dearest.

Honey you had went back to work the day you wrote this letter I received today. Gosh Honey I sure hope you didn’t go back to work to soon now. You said you were feeling pretty good but still had that awful cough. Gosh Honey I sure hope you are rid of that now. I think you should of stayed home a few more days Honey and get some more rest. Gosh Honey you have been working so darn hard and then taking care of the kids they so much while Ruth was sick and looking after everything, it was just to darn much on you dear. You said you sure had lots of work that first day to darling. Please take it easy now dearest and take good care of my darling little wife Honey. Gee but I wish I was home so I could take care of you dear. Maybe it won’t be to awful long before I will be back in your precious arms and can be right with you every minute dear.

Honey you was asking me if I had heard that new song, “Will be as close as the pages in a book.” No dear I have never heard it yet but I’ll bet it is sure pretty. Boy darling we sure will be to and gee so awful happy. Darling when I get you in my arms I’ll never let go of you and never let you out of my sight for a minute. Darling D just think all the time about how wonderful we have our metting planned and all like that. Just think how close we will be the first minute we are in each others arms [edited for content]. Honey dear we love each other so awful, awful darn much and we always will dolly. Our love is real true love dear and straight from the heart, a love that grows stronger day by day. I know that there isn’t or never will be a couple that has a stronger love for each other than us dear. For almost nine years now our love has been growing dear and still does if it is possible for two people to love each other more than we have for the past years. Honey it will be so wonderful when we are back in each others arms and can really show the whole world how much we love each other.

Honey dear I sure hope you can finish that roll of film for me now and you can send me some more precious pictures. Gee darling it makes me so awful happy when I can get your precious pictures. I sure do hope my big pictures gets here before long to dear. It will take it a long time to get here cause I want it so darn bad. Gee darling won’t it be wonderful when we are back in each others arms and can look into each others eyes in person and won’t have to look at pictures and dream of each others. Boy Honey a person never realizes how much a pictures means until you are away from the one that means the world and all to you. I sure do hope you can take a lot of pictures for me now dearest, gee they mean so darn much to me darling.

Honey dear you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful, awful darn much and you know I always will dearest. Gee darling isn’t it wonderful to really own each other. We sure wouldn’t be as happy as we are now if we weren’t married. Honey dear it will be so heavenly to hold you so tight and kiss you so often and I sure hope it isn’t very long before I am there in your precious arms dear. Darling I know God hears our prayers and will keep us safe and bring us together as soon as possible now. [edited for content], miss you so darn much.
