Dear Thomas well here I am again and
I tell you these last two letters I have written you have been awful for I
don’t have any news, only just what we are doing. Well we finished up the
painting about 11:30 o’clock yesterday and Mack said Amy have you got any money
and I said yes and he said let’s go to Bonner and get some lumber and put up
the steps so the way we went to Bonner and by the time dad got home we had them
all up and everything done and was he ever surprised. And I tell you the house
is so light now I have to keep the shades all pulled down and I am washing
today so I have tit all done when I go back to work. Well I got a letter from
you yesterday and I got one today. The one today was written 22 and the one I
got yesterday was the 20 July, neither one had been open either. Well when dad
wanted to pay Mack for painting he at said Tom don’t
be a horse ass. Ha ha. Don’t that
just sound like him. He sent Pat that money back in your pocket and bar
get it. Well I close for now and I write you more tomorrow mother and dad,
answer as soon as possible.
