My Dearest Darling Wife,

Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dearest. Well Honey no sweet letters so far today but I am sure hoping that some comes in before the day is over. The mail has been coming in pretty good now and I sure hope it continues. Gee darling your precious letters mean the world and all to me and they are so darn sweet. They make me so awful, awful happy dear and make me feel so wonderful all over. Gee darling your precious letters just give me the grandest feeling all over. Honey dear you know I will always write you as often as possible now. Gee darling won’t it be heavenly when we are back in each others arms and won’t have to write letters any more. I sure hope you are getting my mail all right now dearest. Honey you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful much.

I am feeling fine now dearest and getting along all right in every way now. I have plenty of everything now dear. Well Honey it is raining here some now but not much to amount to anything. It rains just about every day though and then the first thing you know the sun is shining again. Sure hope you are having some nice weather now dear. Well Honey I am still on the day shift, about two more days now. Gee darling it will be so darn wonderful when I am back in your precious arms and I am on a refular day shift all the time.

Well darling today finds the war looking even better than ever with Russia declaring war against Japan. It sure looks like they would quite now and I really believe they will give in before so very long. Boy that new bomb sure must be something awful. I guess from all reports that it just wiped about sixty percent of that city off the map and killed almost every living thing within miles. Gosh Honey wouldn’t it be wonderful if this thing would end this year and we could be back in each others [arms] for good and not have to leave each other any more. Gosh Honey it will be one of the happiest days in our life when this thing is all over and we can really start our life together.

Honey dear I am so awful proud of my wonderful pictures and so awful happy that I got them in good shape dear. I just look at them all the time dear and gee they make me feel so wonderful. That large picture is so natural Honey and the tinting is so wonderful, gee but it is precious dear. Honey I sure hope you are able to take me some pictures now again. Darling please try and take me some of you in your shorts and just have some shots taken any time you have some one around to snap them for you dearest. I am sure going to try and get some taken for you now dearest, don’t know if I will get to or not but I am sure trying now dear. Gee darling your precious pictures mean so awful, awful much to me and you always take such wonderful pictures dearest. Darling you are so darn sweet and I love you so much.

Sure hope this finds you feeling swell and everything going along all right in every way at home now dear. Gosh Honey in your latest letter you was working so darn hard and it was so awful hot. Please take it easy now dear and take wonderful care of my sweet little wife now. I sure hope Faye is back now dear so you don’t have so darn much work. Gos Honey you ought not work so awful hard now and please don’t get to hot now dearest. Boy Honey how I wish I was home so I could help my little honey and you wouldn’t have near so much to do after you got home from work. I’ll bet I would really have you dressed comfy when you was at home to dear and gee darling we could be resting in each others arms and be so happy. Our day is coming dear and boy Honey we are sure going to be one happy couple when it does come. Well Honey you was saying that Thomas had a fight with that darn girl and went to the head boss and another one of the girls is quit[t]ing over her. I can see why it doesn’t do any good to go to the head boss now dear, cause you said he was running around with a girl there to. Boy Honey I sure don’t want you to take any thing off her now. She had better stay nice to you all the time dear and if she gets just a little out of place you let her know dear. It sure is awful when one darn girl gets like that and I know it is really awful when you are working under conditions like that dear. Please take it easy now dearest and don’t work to hard now and be awful careful dear.

Honey you said you was going to bake me some more cookies. Darling I don’t want you running your self short now on sugar. You are so darn sweet to me dear and always doing everything in your power for me. Gosh Honey you are such a wonderful little cook and I will be so darn happy when you can cook every meal for me dearest. Won’t it be heavenly dear, eating every meal across the table from each other and I will be there to help you with the meals and all dear. Gosh Honey we will be so darn happy and everything will be so darn wonderful.

Honey you are so awful darn sweet and I love you so darn much and you know I always will dear. Gosh Honey we are so happily married and love each other more every day. Gee Darling it is so awful wonderful to see your precious lip prints on my letters. Won’t it be heavenly dear when we can put our lips together in person and have our arms so tight around each other. Darling I know God hears our prayers and will keep us safe and bring us together as soon as possible now. [edited for content] miss you so darn much but we will be together before long dear. Honey you are so darn sweet and I love you so darn much and you know I always will dolly.
