Dear Thomas well I sure am glad it
all over and I know all the boys are to. Well today is Saturday and Joyce is
here with me. Peggie and Mack brought her over here
last nite and she sure is a
good kis. She don’t ask for
anything nor she don’t bother in anything. Got her dolls and she plays out on
the front porch all day. She has got some water in a pan and she ask me while
ago where your boots are that you used to have to play with and told her she
had your wagon and she said she knew that. Well I got two swell letters from
you yesterday and was sure glad to get them. You was
telling us about the new bomb so for now you know what it done and that was
what it took. Well tomorrow they are to meet. I hope everything turns out all
right when they do meet. Gosh Thomas you ought to see Joyce she is scared of
spider webs. Well we are going to take her home this evening late and dad he is hating the drive for now since they have released gas. I
tell you most of them drive like they are crazy and you know most of them have
got bad tires and you can see them setting along the road any place fixing a
flat tire. I am looking for Naomi up to but I don’t know whether she make it or
not. It just whether her dad will let her have the car or
not. Well we are both fine now and I sure do hope you all right and I
hope you don’t have to work so hard now. Be sure and tell us all the news now
that you can. Well I close for now and I write you tomorrow nite.
This is Sunday and I started this letter yesterday but was to
late to get it in the mail so I been writing a letter more on it all the time.
Oh yes my hair sure does look nice after Naomi fix it
and I washed it yesterday and it still look nice. Well we went and took Joyce
home and they had company all day. The minister that used to be there he live at
