August 30, 1945
Dear Thomas well here I am again and
we are fine and I sure do hope you are all right. Well no mail today but maybe
we get some tomorrow. I got a letter Saturday and we have not had any since
then but Naomi had so much Monday that we felt like we had some to. Well not
much news but the weather sure has been hot the last two or three days. Well
dad has been falling back top and putting on the road. Well we sure are getting
lots of kids in the neighborhood know all of the neighbors have got kids but
us. Course Charlson has got his grandkids. And Beckers have got their grandchild to. Well I sure do hope
it rain. Well I was over to Charlson to call Willie
to see how Aunt Filo was and she is still in bad not
much better Willie said. And the Doc said there was not much of anything you
could do for her only to get rest. But I think she is down for good this time
for she look awful bad Sunday when we were up there. Well I hope you are all
right and I hope the finger is all right by now and your eyes to. Well I close
for now so answer as soon as possible mother and dad.
