My Dearest Darling Wife,

Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dearest. Gee darling I received the sweetest letter from you this evening and two of the sweetest ones yesterday evening and I was so thrilled to get them dear/ The latest one was August the twenty fifth, so that was sure good time. I also received three from the folks, one from Mary Lue and one from Peggie. Gee darling your precious letters mean the world and all to me and they are so darn sweet. They make me so awful, awful happy dearest and make me feel so wonderful all over. Gosh Honey it just gives me the grandest feeling all over when I can get your precious letters. Honey dear please don’t worry when you don’t hear from me for quite a while sometimes. You know I will always write you as often and as much as possible dear. Honey I sure hope you and getting my letters all right now. You are so darn sweet dolly and I love you so darn much.

I am feeling fine now dearest and getting along all right in every way now. I have plenty of everything now dear. Well Honey it has been a real nice day here today, not so awful hot like it usually is. In one of your letters dear it was awful hot and then in the other two it had cooled off some and I sure hope it stayed cool dear. Well Honey I got another shot today and boy my arm is sure sore now. I believe this one is worse than the one last week was. I don’t know whether we get another one next week or not but I am sure hoping that this is all for a little while.

Well Honey today is the first day of our month. Gee but it would be wonderful if I could be home in your sweet arms for our anniversary and birthdays dear. We will be together next year and gee how happy we will be darling. Gosh Honey this will make three anniversaries for us and every one of them we have been away from each other. We will really make up for lost time when we do get together dear and gee we will really celebrate all these times we have missed out on. Gosh Honey I am hoping and praying so much that they fix this point system so I will be included in it and then that they will release us when it does come time for us. They have been holding some of the engineers but I don’t think they will now that the war is over. I sure am anxious for them to get this new critical score and see if they are going to recompute the scores. I guess they will be doing it now in a week or so if everything goes all right now.

Darling you was saying you got my slippers and really got just what you wanted. I am sure glad you got something you liked and I sure hope they fit now dear. I think they will cause size seven is what I wear. I’ll bet they sure are nice dear, brown leather and Honey you said they was the last pair they had to. Gee darling you are so darn sweet and so wonderful to me in every way. It will be so swell when I am back in your precious arms dear and can get you things like I want to. Honey won’t it be wonderful when the time comes for us to wear our robes and slippers. It surely won’t be so awful much longer dearest. The time just drags by so darn slow but every day is so much closer to our time dearest. Gosh Honey we will be so awful, awful happy and everything will be so darn wonderful.

Honey dear you was telling me you met Nadine down town the other day and you had dinner at the Muehlebach Grill and then you left each other to do your shopping. I’ll bet you did really enjoy it dear and I know you really had a nice visit. I’ll bet she was sure glad to get the soap dear and I know you was sure glad to get the coconut darling. You said you got you a new hat to dear. Sure would like to see it dear and I know it is really cute. I’ll say it will really be swell when I am back in your sweet arms dear and we can go together to get our clothes and wear our clothes for each other. Gee but we will be happy dear and everything will be so wonderful.

Honey dear you are so darn sweet and I love you so darn much and you know I always will dolly. Gee darling isn’t it wonderful to be married and really own each other. We can be together from the very first minute on now dear and not have to leave each other for one minute. Darling I am going to hold you so awful, awful tight and it will just be almost a continuous kiss dear. Honey dear I know God hears our prayers and will keep us safe and bring us together as soon as possible now. Please take wonderful care of my precious parts dearest, gee but they are wonderful and I love them so darn much. Yours are fine dolly miss you so darn much but they will be together before long dear. Honey you are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in this world and I love you so darn much and you know I always will dear.

Well sug I guess I had better close for thus time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now dear. I’ll be looking for your precious letters now dolly. Please be awful, awful careful now dear and take wonderful care of my sweet little wife. Remember now dear, chin up and always happy. Tell all hello dear.
