My Dear Sweetheart;
It
has been raining most of the day, but I went to school anyhow. Commuting takes a
good hour and a half. Thank goodness I don’t have to day in and day out as I’d
be exhausted. By the time I get jostled from end of the A line (Key system to S.t.) and no. 5 Telegraph car, I’m a wreck! Glenn live on
or near a street parallel to foothill blvd. - just a little bit apast Richards gate of mills – Know where we are now?
Little
Jane is so sweet – I’m so attached to her that I feel sometimes that she’s
mine. She’s having quite a time getting adjusted to her feeding schedule, etc.
She wants to take her physical activity at 3 a.m. and lets out some pretty
lusty yells; Fortunately, though, I’ve been
able to keep much of them under control. Susie is a perfect child, but becoming
terribly spoiled with the attention of two doting grandparents and an Aunt.
By
now you’re celebrating a new year- 1944. Hope I’m the first one to wish you all
the happiest possible.- a quick sailing for home and
may all your dreams come true this year.
Yours forever,
Berna Lou
