My darling wife:-
Didn’t
write yesterday as I didn’t do a thing all day therefore my letter wouldn’t
have contained any more than I love you. I’m sure you realize that fact at
least you better. Today was our first day of school so from now until 17th
April (graduation) I’ll be attending school six hours a day. The course is
nothing more than a refresher to that we had in (Eventually
This means we can finally discontinue living out of
our barracks bags and unpack and get settled at least for about four weeks. As
yet I haven’t gotten you any souvenirs but don’t worry honey I’ll be here long
enough to pick you up some nice things. No one has had any mail for the last
four days. I don’t know what the hold up is but one of these days we will get
letters in bunches. I still haven’t seen or heard anything about any packages,
I hope they haven’t gotten lost or stolen. Send me a package every week and
send a couple of cartons of cigarettes and some candy other than that there’s
nothing I can think of now. Well honey there’s no need
to tell you I miss you because from what you say in your letters you’re in the
same situation. I must tell you one thing though, I love my darling wife more
than anything in the world and always will so be a good girl and I’ll be a good
girl. By the way I showed a couple of the Jap women that work here your picture
and they really think you are something. All they could say was very pretty,
very pretty and honey I’m inclined to believe them
100%. Give my regards to your mother & dad, Geo. & Blanch, and all our
friends.
With
all my love,
Your honey.
