Dear Ruth,

I have been thinking all week I would get you a letter written but I kept putting it off. This week I have been having a round of Bronchitis, but I feel some better today.

Today is a regular fall day cloudy and chilly rained some last night, it has not frosted yet, but the leaves are falling.

And so you are thinking of living in Conn. I can just see you shivering for I expect it is as cold there as here in the winter.

Have you heard from Helen since the storms according to the papers it seemed to be quite bad there.

Max and family were here last Sunday they said everybody was O.K. back home. I have never heard one work from Aunt Mary since they were here. Had a letter from Bill last week he seemed to be O.K.

I hope you are both well.
