Dear Mom and Dad,

Just a few lines to let you know I’m still well and fine. I have been working pretty hard lately but I hope it will stop before too long.

I’m sending you three photos of natives here and you tell dad that this is some of the beautiful South Sea island girls you see and read about.

This letter is going to be short, not too newsy, but it lets you know I’m writing about every day. We get paid tomorrow and I’m going to send Grandma a few dollars for Christmas, also send some home.

Well, until tomorrow at this same time, I’ll close for now.
