Dear heart,
Just a little note to my turnip, it is such a relief to be real busy as I have lately. Time goes much faster and the mind is occupied.
Tootsie bell, you have no idea how nice is to get out of bed in the morning and see that loveable face of yours staring at me from my new photograph of you. And at night also before I cork off for the day. It is really a source of companionship and I do not feel near as lonesome as when I was without it. I never knew how much just a picture could mean. I am sure glad that I have it dear.
There is no real news here today. I am off this PM to the big critique on our last problem just finished and if there is any Cain to be raised about the way things went this is the day on which they raise it. The only thing that could happen is for them to disagree with the tactical decisions made and from the results I don’t think that this time that will be the case. Second guessing is so easy you know and most people are very prone to indulge in it. That is the sort of thing you have to face always when you have a tactical command. How did I get off on the subject?
Geo.L is not back yet and I am anxious to find out what he
