Darling Mine,
I should have written you yesterday but I had a bad day for a change, I don’t know what was wrong but I sure felt like the wrath of God sweat and had a horrible headache all day long. I didn’t leave the house except to eat and then it made me sick. Now that I cannot understand for I usually do not get sick like that and nor do I want to again. I really don’t feel like any Superman today but at least the headache is gone. Of course it is only seven thirty in the morning so maybe I am hasty. I am really worried that such things start showing up here just about when I am to start on a leave. If I would get malaria or something that would jeopardize that leave with you I would not be able to recover.
My orders
for the school should be out by the twenty to twenty fifth of this month in
plenty of time for me to write (Cable if necessary) you that they are actually
out dearest. It will be impossible for
me to come by SA as you suggest although I agree that it would be much better
and very nice having the car but it just cannot be this time. As to the deal of writing the Holden’s I really
thought that you were quite friends with her so lets just forget it for we will
find a place OK someway somehow. Some of
the boys have been up from here and I can get the dope from them. It would be an opportunity for you to see
your mother as you suggest and then come on to
Now about
the TC job. Our recently departed CG
went to
But I hardly think that it could now due to the (late) date. It might happen as I was on leave however. In that event I think that I will fix it so I would not have to come back here. Jim could send my odds and ends and take care of any stray bills. Gosh I am practically out of this place to hear me talk.
I just
found out about the town of
I enjoyed that letter you wrote as you dashed about the town of Big D. Gosh honey you have been you have been on the go for a spell now. I have sort of missed your intimate letters you manage to write when you have more time. Don’t misunderstand me dear I am glad that you have had a chance to get around for a spell but I do like my chats with my darling also. I love her very dearly and when I do not get my chats with her I am plenty out of sorts.
There continues to be nothing worth while reporting from down here. I suppose that this will reach you in SA dearest. And also you will have my letters there as it seems that some of them have not caught up with you yet. Did you get the express package as yet? Anyway dearest one love to you from the bottom of my heart and I really hope to be seeing you soon. Adios.
