Dear Nick,
Terribly sorry for
delaying your answer as you know I have plenty to keep me busy. What’s new with
you? I’ll send some money home with the last letter. Today is my day off [.] I plan
to go to the dentist for I don’t think I will [.] I only have to go one time
[,] so I’m in no hurry. Instead, I’m going out to eat Chow Mein that’s Chinese
food. The weather here is warm. I dreamt of Anna P. last night and boy was she
acting snobbish. If she did that to me in real life [,] I’d step all over her.
It’s funny how she never calls me or any of the other girls that she used to
know. I spoke to Elsie Turko the other day [.] She
didn’t have much to say [;] only as usual she giggles. That’s our George number
2. There isn’t much for me to write so I guess I’ll close. Oh, and by the way
I’m going out now with a nice fellow [.] I’m seeing him tonight. I haven’t seen
him for [two] weeks because of him being busy with his work, but he calls me
every day. In the next letter I may have more to say about it. Sending kindest
regards [and] loads of love.
Sis.
