Hello Nick,
Received your letter and I was glad to hear from
you. I just got through with work so
I’ve decided to write to you. I had a
letter from Pee Wee a few days ago and I answered it the same day to make sure
I got it off, otherwise it takes me days
if I put it off. I had a letter from
home and mother asked me send a couple dollars home, so I had three dollars to
my name I send it to her, she must have needed it badly if she asked for
it. I’m sending you some of the
pictures, when you’re through with them, please send them to me. Bill is having a whole set of pictures made
for me, which I didn’t see yet as soon as I get them I’ll send them to you, to
see them. Helen Liveski
spoke to me to-day, she wanted to know whether I know
or heard where Anna Papovich is at. Come to think of it, I wonder what she is
really doing. I suppose bumming around somewheres. I had a
letter from Bill yesterday, and he’s coming to see me May 1st. I only hope nothing happens to spoil his
plans, Nick, someday I’ll arrange wih Bill, so you
two can meet, you’re not very far from Washington or maybe some
day. He’ll go to Baltimore, you
see his friend, which is on the picture has an aunt there and they go there
once in a while. I’m sure you’ll like
the two of them. They’re swell fellows. You have no idea what fun you can have with
the two of them, and besides they’re no snobs, so you don’t have to worry about
meeting them.
So
far we’ve been having swell weather in the city, I
guess it’s really spring. I told pap to
make a nice home, that I have great plans for it. Come to think of it, it’s going to take an
awful lot of money to furnish it right, but I’m going to see what I can do.
Well
I guess this calls for a close. It’s ten o’clock now and I’m very tired. This is the first chance I got to-day to sit
down so as soon as I seal this letter, I’m going to bed. The more I do in this house, the more there
is to do. Give my best regards to Squarie.
Hoping
this letter finds you in the best of health and take
it easy.
Love,
Your
Sister
Anne
