Hello, honey:
It’s eight-thirty now and I’m a
little earlier than usual [and] sitting up in the middle of my bed. Honey, how
are you? What all did you do today? Oh, darling. I am well and very happy, for
I’m so, so in love with you.
I was busy today, honey, typing and filing and time
passed very quickly. I hurried to the post-office, honey, and there was a very
long letter for me from a fellow I’m very much in love with.
Mrs. Yolaine and I ate at the
village, dear, and her husband brought us home. Honey, I miss you very much.
The evening is very lovely tonight, but I'm lonely for you. I love you,
sweetheart, with all my heart. It is so, so much.
Ann dropped in this evening to say “hello.” She has a
large boil on the side of her cheek, honey, and she isn’t working until she is
better. Honey, did you get her address?
I was invited to Perryville to stay all night, dear, but
I refused. She is Mrs. Jackson and she is the typist in our office. I’ll miss
your letter, dear, and next day I won’t be able to work.
Yes, darling, on the 25ish of each month we have our two
anniversaries. Honey, I remember 814 very vividly. You know, honey, the six
months just slipped by very quickly. Another will too, dear, darling, I was
caught several times by Mrs. Jackson and she killed me. Mr. Kidwaller
said, you are going to wear the ring out by looking at
it. Oh, honey, it is a beautiful ring. You are always with me, sweetheart.
Honey, I had our small pin on today. I love you so, so much, dear, that you are
always with me.
No, darling, I haven’t seen Daw
I may call him up.
This place is full of memories of us. Walking home
through the short cut is full, honey, the church, dear, too. I just love you, and love you, sweetheart,
with all my heart. Honey, I yearn for you so so much.
It’s because I love you so so much.
Goodnight, honey, and tomorrow I’ll see you again,
darling, take good care of yourself, and may God bless
you, my love. All my love and kisses go to you and only you, dear, for all of
them belong to you as I do.
Goodnight, dear,
Sincerely yours,
Rosemarie,
P.S. I love you,
dearly, sweetest dreams, honey.
