My dearest dear:
How
are you? What are you doing honey? Going to the show, honey? Did you work hard
too, honey? I’m well, honey, but still full of mosquito bites. Right now,
honey, I’m sitting on my bed and it’s getting to be eight o’clock.
It
was slightly chilly today, honey. I wore my skirt to work and sweater. Honey,
[I] still like the winter uniforms better.
Tomorrow,
dear, you will have two letters. One has something in it. Thanks,
honey, very very much.
You
left yesterday, honey, and I miss you so much. I love you, honey. Oh, very very much. Honey, I want to tell you something. You said
that married people after they’ve been married for several weeks-you know what
I mean, don’t you, honey. I disagree with you, honey, very much. I didn’t say
anything at the time, because I wanted to think by myself. Honey, when two
people love each other and belong to each other will always love the way to
love each other. This affection, honey, gets to be firmer and deeper as the
weeks go by. I love you, honey, with all my heart. I wish you were home to take
me into your arms and say, “I love you.” I’m looking forward, dear, to seeing
you soon. Let’s think about this, honey.
I’m
going down to White’s some evening to get my skirt and will see Ann. Honey, did
you tell Ann about the blinds? Tell Don “hello” for me, honey.
Tomorrow,
honey, I’ll be waiting for my letter. Without a letter each day life is
lonesome. Please, honey, try to write each evening. I do, for I love you and to
sit on my bed every evening with my pad and pencil is something. I look forward
to each evening.
I’ve
said I’m true to you, honey, and always will be. I know you are, too, for we
love each other. I have the sweet
feeling, honey, all for you. I sometimes wonder how I would get along without
you; life would be lonesome, honey, as it is now, but I love you to look
forward to seeing you now and there and letters each day.
I’m
going straight to bed, honey, so I’ll say goodnite
now. Take good care of yourself, honey, for I love you. I send you all my love
and kisses, honey, may God bless you, dear, always.
Saving
by you,
Rosemarie
