Wednesday
Evening
My darling Nick:
Two
letters today and I’m so very happy too, darling, I made up my mind that I’m
going home Saturday evening. We had a letter from our dad and I’m homesick.
While I’m here, honey, I’m going to go to my dentist and have him go over my
teeth. I only hope, dear, that I get permission to go from Mr. Kidierler,
darling. Keep your fingers crossed. All day, honey, my tooth has bothered me
and that is important.
How
are you, honey? I am fine and, as I said, happy. Darling, I love you and love
you with all my heart. My heart belongs with you and to you.
Honey,
I had a busy day today, The other girl was out today
and will be again. She had her teeth extracted.
Estas and Regina (her friend) are going for ice cream, I’m
staying in.
Honey,
I love you with all my heart. Your letters mean the world to me, honey, without
one what would I do. I love you and miss you ever so much, darling. My thoughts
were of you today as I worked. Honey, our kisses are mounting up again and oh,
come September, for Rose and Nick are waiting ever so much. Goodnight,
sweetheart. Take good care of yourself very good. I send all my love and kisses
to you, honey. May God bless you.
Darling,
I miss you oh, so very much. In September, dear, we can only hope and pray that
we will see each other. Darling, I, too, want to be with you always, darling,
always, and as we’ll like to be. How happy Rose and Nick would be!
Johnnie
is still at Fort Bragg, honey, for Eileen gave me his address, honey, tell Dave
“hello” for me. He has all my luck, darling, and may
God bless him, honey, for both of us.
It’s
a lovely evening, darling, and cool, too. I’m sitting, and on my bed now,
honey, for I’m writing to my honey. To the one I love with all my heart.
How
did inspection go, honey? Good, I hope, honey. Honey “Ship Ahoy” is playing now
here in Aberdeen.
You’re
my honey, darling, for I love you. Eileen is Johnnie’s sweetie pie. Darling,
always
Goodnight,
honey,
Lovingly
yours,
Rosemarie
P.S. I love you, honey. Honey, call me up Friday
evening and I’ll be sure if I’m going home and I’ll write to you from home.
Rosemarie
