Monday Evening
Sweetheart:
I had a lovely letter today from
someone. He is stationed in Norfolk and I’m in love with him.
Honey, I’m fine. I have the most
energy tonight. I wash Esta’s and my clothes, stewed
our apricots, shined my shoes and am going to iron. Wish you were here, honey.
I’d battle with you. How are you, honey? Did you work hard, today, dear? Honey,
he didn’t say anything Friday morning.
Honey, it’s odd that we talked about
Johnnie’s Dad and he passed away. I’m so sorry for the family, dear, now they
are without a father.
Darling, I love you with all my
heart. I miss you, dear. The reason you couldn’t sleep, dear, was on account of
me. I was not with you, dear. I miss you, honey, so very much. It will be nice
to visit your cousins in Penna.
Yes, our three days were wonderful. I’d
give anything to live with you, dear, each day and night together. How happy we’d
be!
Honey, I wrote Saturday night,
Sunday evening, and didn’t mail them. I will send the Saturday night letter,
dear, but the other ones I destroyed last night.
What are you doing this evening,
honey? Are you going to the movies, honey? Let’s have a date tomorrow evening,
dear, and go to the movies.
I’m happy to hear that all the boys
are fine, dear.
Goodnight, dear, I’ll see you again
tomorrow. Take good care of yourself, dear, for I love you.
I send all my love and kisses to you, sweetheart. May God Bless You, dear.
Lovingly
yours,
Rosemarie
P.S.
Sweet dreams, dear.
