Hello Nick:
We
received your letter and will write a few lines in return. Things are going
fair around home, and we’re doing about as much as possible to the house. We received one of Rose’s checks, and will
keep it for you. I heard from George,
and he has an A.P.O. number, but couldn’t say anymore than that. He is along the East Coast somewhere. Frank
wrote but said we were not to answer until he wrote. He expected to move in a few days. I wasn’t
down to see Ann. She wrote and said she
wouldn’t be home Memorial Day, so I didn’t go down. I heard from Rose, and she
is at home. I must close for now so, until we hear from you – the best of luck.
