Sat. PM
Dear Mother,
Arrived at camp okay & I have really been moving from house to house since I have arrived. And yes I don’t know where Ill be stationed. May leave tomorrow & it may be 2 weeks, so do not write me until I get stationed. Pretty tired & sore from so much going & “shots” & hope to take it a little easier soon, although it may be get harder.
I trust you get along okay & will be satisfied after a while. Hope you don’t miss me too much & will soon get used to me being away. Just make your mind up to it that I’ll be gone for awhile.
Not much news here except business. Hope you get the croft with out much trouble. Let Luther do whatever he thinks best.
Will write again as soon as I’ve been stationed. Thinking all the while of you, I am your loving son.
Love, Russell
