Dear Anna:

Received Your most welcomed letter and also the post cards from you and Rosalie. That is sure some card you sent me that’s what I call hot stuff and I am sure you will agree with me, if we only could get together for a little practice drill on that subject. I am going drop Rosalie a line and thank her for the card she sent me as I think it was very thoughtful of her to do that.

In reference to Betty’s experience with the Guard I can imagine just how Betty felt as I have had quite a bit of guard duty and as a rule we generally give nice looking girls breaks if they behave themselves.

I am very sorry to hear that you lost Freshie but I guess it is one of those things which had to be and no one can do anything about it.

I seriously hope you make out alright at the conference with the lawyers and I wouldn’t let a little thing like that worry you in fact you should feel honored to be among such intellectual people.

In regards to the (Sep) it means we are a separate unit we can either operate by ourselves or be attached to any other unit which ever way may be necessary in the battle field. However make sure you put it on whenever you write to me.

I am sending you the pins I promised you and I hope you will like them and wear them if you want too as a token of remembrance.

Tell Em and Elsie I thank them for their letter and I hope they are keeping everything under control.

I sent the package to Elsie’s House because I thought there might not be any one home at your house to receive it during the day.

I hope you are in the best of health and I also hope your mother and everyone else is enjoying the best of health.

Closing with lots of Love to you and Best Regards to every body.

                                                                                                                                                Always Yours

                                                                                                                                                            Tony
