Dear Anna:
Received your most welcomed letter and I was glad to hear from you and the rest of the family.
I am very sorry to hear that you hurt your finger and I hope it isn’t anything serious and I am sure if I were there I could make it well right away[.] what do you think about that[?] I am quite sure you agree with me since you well know my great power of healing especially where women are concerned.
I am getting so used to sleeping outdoors under the stars and moon that it seems strange for me to sleep in a bed when we are back in the barracks. I suppose when I come back I will have to sleep in the yard in order to be in the proper atmosphere. Of course in a way it would save a lot of work as there would be no bed to make and etc. I think when I come back I will bring back with me my outdoor camping equipment so that I can always keep in trim.
I am sorry to hear you are having so much rainy weather yet I guess it is a good thing for the crops as we get so much hot weather during this time of the year.
I am glad to hear that Eva has your Girls under control or the other way around[.] Tell him I said to keep up the good work.
I will close now with lots of Love to you and give my best regards to everybody.
Always yours,
Tony
