Dear Anna:
Received your most welcomed letter and I am very glad to heart from you and the next of the family.
We have moved down to the sunny south again but we only expect to stay here for a short time just how long I do not know I hope it won’t be long as I do not like it down here.
I am very happy to know that you finally got a vacation and I hope you are enjoying every bit of time you have off as you deserve it because I know you have been working very hard.
I am very glad to know that your mother is well and everything is OK at the shore.
When you write to me use the address I have at the head of this letter not the one on the envelope.
I am sending you a few gifts that will sort serve as a remembrance from this camp and I hope you will like them. I am sending them to Ellie’s house as I realize there will be no one to receive them at your house yet.
There is very little else I can think of to say at the present except that I hope you and the rest of the family are in the best of health.
I hope that all this muddled will soon be over so that we can be together again as I am always thinking of you and I miss you very much.
Lots of love to you and best regards to everybody.
Always yours,
Tony
