Thurs 4:00 P.M.
Dear Dot and Dana,
I am pretty tired this afternoon, but will try and write a few times.
I was out to sea yesterday afternoon and then I went out again at 7:00 PM and didn’t come in till eight o clock this morning, gee, what a night, the Rest of my crew (Slept) a little but as I was the only one that would drive the boat I had to stay awake. We had a chance to sleep 3 or 4 hours this morning and then went to a recreation class this afternoon. We are supposed to have liberty tonight but I am going to stay in and sleep.
I Got a letter this morning and the nice card, I wish I could have found one to send you but there wasn’t one in town.
Well, you finally have moved (to your new) home, hope you don’t get lonesome, I guess you will have plenty to do to take up your time. We were just called out to have our picture taken of our Division and officers in our work clothes.
It won’t be long now Dot I expect to leave her sometime next week.
It seems funny that Betty doesn’t hear from Blaine, they must have sent him some place far away or he would have written.
I am awful tired, guess I will go to chow and hit the sack early tonight.
All my love and Kisses,
Beecher
