Dear Dot and Dana,

I feel pretty good today as I got two letters this morning one from you and one from Dana (postmarked July 1st).

There must be quite a few on the way with three-cent stamps on them. Please send the rest airmail.

I understand by the letters that you are working in the mill. Well darling, that is nice that you can earn a little money, you sure can use it.

I got paid yesterday, forty dollars. I am sending you $20.00 in this letter to help out on the tax bills. There won’t be any need of you ever sending me any money. Cause, I have been on liberty just twice since I left Florida.

No Dot, I haven’t been swimming since I left Florida.

If you haven’t sent that box yet, please don’t waste your money ending one.

I can buy candy and everything I need here on the Base. I appreciate your thoughtfulness dear, but I know you need the money.

I sure would like to see you Dana with your rabbits. I’ll bet you have a lot of fun with them. And I thought you did awfully well writing your letter.

Be a good boy and I hope Daddy can come home pretty soon to see you and Dottie.

Well dear, I hope you get this letter and the money order all right. Hope I get a letter again tomorrow.

                                                            Love and Kisses,

                                                                        Beecher.
