Dear Mary:
Received your letter and very glad to hear from you. I am well and getting along alright and hope this finds all of you the same. I’m glad that you have such a nice place and I would like very much to come and see, but I have a little more visiting to do over here before I’ll have time, but I hope to be able to see you sometime soon. Tell Guy he doesn’t know how lucky he is to have such a nice home and he is able to do what he likes. He should see how the boys over here have it. Some of them have never seen ice cream or have ever known what it is because since the war no desserts are allowed. It’s rather tough on the kiddies but not a one of them complains. Hope Pauline has a nice time on her trip and that Margaret and you have a big time when she comes down. Will close for this time.
