England
Dear Mary and all:
Received your V-letter and enjoyed it very much. I’m still here in England well and getting along fine. Hope this finds all of you in the best of health. We’ve been having some swell weather here lately and it’s really nice having sunshine for a change. Have been going out and playing softball and I get a big kick out of it. I got rather stiff and sore at first but not now so bad as I expected. I got a new pair of glasses today and so far they feel good. I don’t wear them now as much as I should but I don’t think my eyes are as bad as they used to be. Had a party the other night and had a right fair time. Had beer and sandwiches and even had some beer left over. [Censored] and as we are playing we should get good seats. I sent Guy some coins. Let me know if he gets them. Space is gone so I’ll close for now.
Love to all
Roland.
