Dear Mary and all:

Recieved a V-letter and an Easter greeting from you and many thanks. I’m always glad to hear from you so write whenever you can. I’m well and doing fine and hope this finds everyone at your house in the best of health. I think it was very nice of you all to give that party for mother and dad as I’m sure they enjoyed it. Sure would have liked to been there myself. Things are going very good now so maybe it won’t be so long until this war is over. Hope so as I want to get home and start living again. Was back to Holland over night not so long ago and had a swell time. Really like it there and one doesn’t even know there is a war going on while there. Must close for now but will write soon. Love
