Tuesday Morning
Dearest Darling:
Hello my
sweet. How are you feeling today? I sure hope you are feeling fine. And our darling baby daughter. Boy honey, I sure wish I
could see her and you also. Give her a kiss and a big hug for her daddy will
you? I could love her to death. Tell her her daddy
loves her will you? She is going to be the best daughter she is going to be the
best daughter ever was. And I am the proudest daddy in the world.
Jane
darling I am sorry I haven’t written but honey we are on the move all the time
and I haven’t had a chance to write, but believe me I have been thinking of you
all the time and I will write every chance I get. We have been maneuvering
since Monday last week and am taking a 2 day break and
are being out again. We aren’t in camp, we are camped
about a hundred and fifty miles from camp close to a town called Blythe. We
still have 10 more days before we are through.
I got your
letter with the announcement in it. It sure is cute. I sent a telegram Sunday.
Let me know if you got it.
About the
allotment honey, the company has to send in a notice for them to start it. The
money has been taken out for my part and as soon as they get the notice in
Sweet tell
Mother and dad hello. Also Sybil and Bob. Tell Mother
I finally got the registered letter. It took 8 days. Also I got the money in
both letters. Sure did need it. I won’t get paid until November the 1st
and I sure was broke. I don’t know when I will get my ration’s money.
Honey I
guess I will stop now but I will try my darndest to
write again tomorrow. Please don’t be mad at me for not writing more but I just
can’t. They keep us on the move all the time we hardly have any time to sleep.
But I am going to try to write as often as possible. But darling remember that
I love you and our baby better than any thing in the whole world. And I am
going to be with you before very long and I am really going to take care of you
and our baby. She is going to love have the best that money can buy. And so are
you. And don’t forget I love you. Tell mother I will try to write her tomorrow.
Again sweet
I will stop now, be sweet and take good care of yourself and our baby. Because I think the world of both of you.
Write as
often as possible honey because that is all I have to look forward to.
Love to my darling wife and baby,
Clive

all that matter any at all with me.
