Hello Everybody,
How are you all today. I am fine and hope you are too.
Gee, I’m glad your not mad a me about not coming up to see you. I think I’ll get home next weekend and I will see you all then.
In case you don’t know it, I have told you I think, I’m working in a office down here taking care of names of all the boys who come into and leave the base. I don’t quite remember wheather I told you I was going to be a mail clerk or not but some think come up and Jim working in this office now. It’s a very easy job and clean. I don’t have to stand guard “only when I’m not up to par” I get liberty every night from 4:30 to 7:30 the next morning and every weekend off from 4:30 Sat. till 7:30 Mon. morning. I can’t get home every weekend but I will be able to get home 1 or 2 times a month. That’s not so bad is it. I think I’m pretty lucky. Don’t you. If I calculated right I’ll be here about 4½ or 5 months.
Well I don’t know what else to write about cause nothing of interest happened yet so I’ll say so long for now.
Love to all
Howard
