Boy this really has been a nice trip. Last night we went into Alabamy. We got off at the station and marched through the station and down Main St. with a police escort. They divided us up in groups and ate in the different cafeterias.

So far we have been through N.C., S.C. Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and now we are in the station at Louisiana right outside New Orleans. I saw the Mississippi River last night. I have seen a lot of those manufacturing places such as the Chrysler building, S&W paint manufacturing building, Armor manufacturing building and the Canada Dry Bottling Company. They are all right along the railroad so they can ship their produce out. I saw a lot of others that are familiar products down there but I can’t think of them.

We had bacon and eggs again for breakfast this morning. Well I guess our next state will be Texas with its long horn cattle. I have already seen some long horns in Alabamy. You & Dad should be with me on this trip. Its real nice and a lot of scenery.
