Dear Mom-
I have been pretty busy lately so haven’t written for several days. Everything is okay here. I haven’t heard from you for several days. I never received the duplicate of the different papers you said they were sending. Not a word that you have receiving letter concerning it. Please don’t delay in looking into what should be done as I want you to have the money.
Had the letters from Betty Bursley (who is now Mrs. Frank Rankin) of the show. Also from Bobbie Gregory, Henry McGehee, and Edmund. I’m trying to answer them now.
Hope Jenny came through the operation okay. I’m anxious to hear.
If they have a service man’s edition of The Richmond Times Dispatch, I wish you would send a few copies. I’d like to see some of the home town news. I miss it all.
Still no word from Gene. Guess he’s out on a mission. Wonder where? From what you said in your letter he must be in command of an 1ST.
Write soon with all the news. Don’t worry, everything is swell.
Love,
Jack
