Dear Mom-

I have just a moment to write to you tonight. One of those busy times is coming up again so perhaps I won’t have time to write very often now.

This war is moving fast these days. And every move is one toward home, it can’t last much longer at this rate.

No mail came in today. I probably won’t get any for a few days so things will be somewhat unsettled. I’ll try to write if I can find time.

Please give Ginny the enclosed note. Tell her to write sometime.
