Hello Dot.
About the teeth first. Don’t mention teeth to me. I still carry the damn thing in my pocket. I don’t think I will have any for this war. Maybe by the next one I will get them.
Well, I bet old Mike is catching hell by now. They will give him shots every two or three days. Ha ha. The whiskey will come all out in about a week. Boy, I bet those letters of his will be full of woe. Ha ha.
I bet old Gordie felt good the next morning. I know just how he felt. I’ve done it myself. Ha ha. I would have liked to have seen Ma. I bet the leg got hell if she got gassed. Say hello to the old girl for me. But don’t say I said old girl. Ha ha.
Boy that cooking sure sounds good. Man, what I wouldn’t give for a good pie.
Dot, send me some writing paper. Also a pencil that uses fine lead. You better send the lead too. Ha ha. We have a hell of a time getting writing paper here. Send candy and cookies. I sure can use them.
Honey, don’t worry about me. I can take care of myself ok? Well honey, till the next letter, love and stuff. Jim.
