Clearmont High

Hello Louise,

Just a letter from the one that “loves” you.  Every one at Clearmont knows you now.  These girls down here said it wasn’t fair that they couldn’t be that pretty.  If they could play ball like you, I think they would be satisfied.  They want to know if you use Coal Gate Tooth Powder, for a “smile” that dazzles. haha

We are putting up the basketball goals just getting ready to return the one sided victory of yours.  We have four first team boys left from last year, and a sideline “star.”  Just wondering what Burnsville has left.  You know they beat us last year in softball and failed in basketball.  I bet you and I won’t get to sit on the sideline and talk this year, for you will have to play.  Things are changed at Clearmont this year that hard boiled English teacher has left, and Mrs. Lo Fiown has taken her place, so we are rejoicing.  We are having more fun than any other school I know.  You act like you were mad at me the other day.  Don’t ever do that again for darling I’m in love with you—guess I had better hush this crazy stuff.  So don’t disappoint me.

“Keep On Flying”

Love Ikey
