Hello Jack,

I received your letter a few days ago. I enjoyed reading it very much and think it was nice of you to write.

There isn’t much to say about myself except: I have brown hair and gray eyes. I’m 5’4” tall and weigh around a hundred and sixteen pounds. I’m seventeen and a senior in high school.

I’m fond of various kinds of pictures and have a large collection of them. I like all sports and skating is my favorite. I like fishing, boating and swimming in summer. Moultrie is a small place and there isn’t very much to do here, but there are places for amusements out of town.

I’m from a large, but happy family. Now that you know me better I hope you won’t find it hard to write to me.

I will close now hoping you aren’t working too hard and, expecting to hear from you soon.

I’m enclosing a picture of my self. I hope you will send me one of yours too.
