Dear Jack,

Here I am again! Sorry?? I hope not. Gosh I received the most shocking news A.C likes a girl! A Helen Rowe from Connelly, unbelievable! It just doesn’t seem possible. Gwen said she already told you, holy moses!!! The woman hater, remember when he used to say “guess I’ll whistle and give them a thrill”. Gosh it seems so long ago, but I remember.

I haven’t received a letter in two days, gosh I wonder when I’ll hear from you? When I come home from work that is always what I look forward to.

Your sister is quite a gal. She’s super, the wolves will certainly be knocking at her door. I like her a lot, she reminds me of you.

Couldn’t get any films in Port Ewen yesterday but I’m gonna try up-town tomorrow. At the moment we have relatives visiting us. Remember one night when we were going to the movies and my aunt and uncle were here? Well they are the ones, they came for supper.

Oh yes Jack about Frank Konhont. I haven’t seen him in ages but if he intends to marry the girl he must love her. That’s all that matters Jack don’t spoil anything for him.

When you receive your camera send me loads of pictures and tell me about China. I’m really interested, no kidding!!

Guess I’ll close, I’ll write later to-night or to-morrow. Port Ewen isn’t any more livelier than it used to be. Have you ever heard from Billy Ward? I have, guess I better get down to work and answer it.
