Dear Mom,

How is everything these days? Same as usual I suppose.

Everything is real green around here now. Just like home, only more cloudy days.

I have fun looking around for a souvenir to send you, but so far haven’t found anything.

Maybe you could give me a suggestion.

Got a letter from Freda. She is home again now.

Do you see much of Polly and Paul these days?

Got a letter from Polly today. They seem to be about as usual.

Went bike riding around today, as it is my day off. There is not much of this territory around here that I have not explored.
