Dear Mom,

Got your letter yesterday. Can’t understand why you haven’t been getting the letters, but by the time they arrive you will have gotten them.

The weather keeps on being rainy every day and clearing off at night. It should be just the other way around.

Must be getting pretty cool home by now.

I went to see a stage show the other night. It was pretty good.

I probably will be getting the package you mailed before long now.

Will try to send you all something if I can pick it up, but over here, there is not too much to select from.
