Dear Helen,
Nothing
much to write about, New Year’s Eve passed and I spent the night hanging around
the service club. Tonight I thought I’d go to a show at Berkeley game but no
free tickets and the movies are crowded.
We
had turkey for dinner today and it was good. What was left over we had for
supper and I managed to get enough to make two good sized sandwiches. There was
even lettuce and Russian dressing but no toast.
That’s about all, I’ll
be home next weekend.
Love, Harold
P.S. Go out and buy yourself a birthday present a
let me know how much.
