Letter Number 2
Dear Billy,
I
have not heard from you in quite a long while, perhaps they went astray or you
did not have time to write.
I
received a very nice letter from Ms. Bartlett in England with the pictures and
also a Christmas card in it, I think the pictures are all very nice. I answered
her letter and told her how I appreciated her kindness to you during your stay
in England and hoped if ever she came to America she would look me up and I
would make it as pleasant as possible for her. She also told me her daughter
and she had received the perfume you sent them from Paris.
Harold
expected to get a three day Furlough around the 17th of January and
he is looking forward to it.
Love
from,
Your Mommy
