Hi-ya Chief, Ol
Keed,
Reviewed
your letter a few days ago- Boy it was a swell letter. Thanks a million for
that lovely kiss you sent me it was swell but I really wish you could have
given it to me in person and I would also [have] liked to have the big hug that
goes with it.
Yes, I
reviewed those 2 pictures. The one with the hat on, I thought was pretty good
but the one with it off- well I didn’t think so much of it. By the way what do
you think of them? I’m glad that you wrote my Mother and also sent her those
pictures because she said that she would really like to hear from you.
Yes the
weather is very hot down here- entirely to[o] hot for me. Boy I surely wish I
could be up there with you in some of that nice “Necking Weather” as you said.
Glad to
hear you’re getting a promotion- keep up the good work Chief.
OH By the
way, I’m in a convalescent hospital now- they are giving me injections in my
left foot to clear up the ruptured blood conditions. I’ll be able to walk good
in another week. From now on- I am going to take it so easy on my cycle that
they will call me “low gear Kershaw.” Well Chief I’ll sign off now- think of me
once in a while- I’ll do the same.
Loads
of Love
Chuck
