Dearest adored little husbie:
Today I received by mail that document from you making me your attorney (or what ever!) and have carefully put it away. Now if you’ll
just increase the baby’s and my allotment, my life will be very pleasant and
easy to manage. Should you, dear, so much. I also had
a grand letter from Eileen today, with pictures of Kathleen which I will send
to you to see. She’s cute. But not like our Jamie will be!! Still haven’t heard
if jack will be
down Saturday- if he doesn’t call by Friday, I’ll call him. I catched another mouse last night, and threw the trap away,
too! Darling, does the “Essie” spoon bring you any comfort? And is Dreeb still with you? And how is my Dink?!! Keep him
safe for me. I’m fine, and so is the family. Getting impatient for May 15!!! I
love you so much, and pray for you constantly. Keep well, dear one, and never
forget you have the endless love of your wife.
