Dearest little honey: I love you I love you I love you!
No special reason to begin this letter that way- just that I feel especially
happy today, that we are one forever, and that we belong to each other. I have
the sweetest hubie in the whole world and the most precious baby too! I just
really am a lucky girl! Today is dark and rainy, and I has the baby’s laundry
hung on my nice big folding dryer which is which is set up in the dining room,
by the oil stove. Jamie weighed nine pounds eight ounces today, a gain of five
ounces this past week, which is excellent considering how hot it has been ( I’m
cozy to write a w’ong wordule!!)
She is five and I adore her. Oh, Edward! She just makes life for me, now that
my world is so empty with hubie gone away. They did a good job on the olds
mobile yesterday: wash and polish for $2.00! Our new license plate is on top,
and I had your Wessover and Otis plates put back on the new one, just as they
were! Am I a silly? Our new number is NY1-A8421. So now I’m I-A!! I found a
place here that sells bouquets almost as pretty as our little shop near
Centerville, and at the same price (25 cents) so I bought two lovely bouquets
yesterday, just for you. I am going to the movies this afternoon-alone-and Winkie will take Jamie for me. I love you, my darling dear, and your letters
are so wonderful and sweet. Sometimes they make me cry. Give my love to Dinka!

Wife,
Bad Girl
