My darling dear
husband: At last!! Letters from you today and I am so relieved and happy
that I’m just overcome, nearly!! There were two very interesting envelopes of
clippings for-and! For a change, 2 red personal, handwriting letters. All week I’ve
just gotten wordless clippings, which, while interesting, were disappointing.
Your letters were July 27th and 29th –mailed one week
ago today!! One quicker yes. No new news tonight: today
I took the Olas mobile uptown, and had 3 A. ticker’s of gasoline put in (9 gallons) as the current ones
die on Monday. I am surely glad I was forced to buy that new battery for the Olas, as I’ve known quite a while we needed one, but
somehow hated to buy one. Now I have, and it’s nice to feel that the car is in
top condition. I also took a lit bundle of “dirdy didies” to the Didy Woman, and
collected the clean ones. Every other day is Dirdy Didy Day. We are surely enjoying the oranges mother
sent-They’re the best yet. I am going to give some to the Corcorans,
and some to Dr. Kelly, as oranges here are so hip now, 5.64 a dozen. I got
o Dr. K tomorrow, to have myself and my angel babychild
checked. We have to go once a month till he’s 6 months old. Jamie is fine,
as usual, and even more adorable than ever. I’m fine,
too, but oh so awfully seelie- yes awfully seelie. Wants needs needs NEEDS. Here are 4 kisses for your kiss place. Your wife.
