Dearest Clara,
Darling
I am sitting here writing a few lines, but I don’t know what it will be, I am still out at seam so as you know there isn’t much I
can write about. Darling I am fine, and I hope you are feeling the same, and take
care of those pimples I think you should get some more blood medicine, and I
hope it will help you out Honey if you go see Dr. Monad he will tell you what
to do for them, It sure would be nice if I could be there, and go with you but
I can’t so beware and look after them won’t you Darling. I wish I could write
more on these V letters but there just isn’t enough room to do so. Darling the
ocean is very pretty, but all you can see is water every place you look.
I
will write more letters to you on the regular paper, but it will take longer
for them to reach you, so please don’t worry if you don’t get any mail for some
time. So be good for me, and I’ll sure be for you Darling. Write soon. I
printed your name on one of the letters and I didn’t know I could write it on.
With
lots of love and kisses to my wife Clara.
