Dearest Clara,
Darling
I will write one of these letters today, I wrote one of the other kind also. I was out on deck for a while but I got tired
standing looking at the water so thought I’d better come back and write a few
more letters, Honey I bet you will be tickled when I can write something more
interesting, I know I will, but I do the best I can, the water is so much
smoother to-day it don’t feel like the ship is moving, but it is for sure. I
sure would like to have something to eat right now, but I’ll have to wait for a
few hours yet. It sure will be nice when you can send me some cookies and candy
that you make. I sure could enjoy them right now. Darling I hope you are
feeling good and be careful, you can always depend on me, and I love you so
much, write real soon.
With lots of love and kisses, to my Darling
Wife Clara
